Help NMPolitics.net reach its fundraising goal this week

Heath Haussamen

After nine weeks of fundraising, NMPolitics.net is at 95 percent of its goal of raising $12,000 by April 30. You can help NMPolitics.net reach its goal this week.

Please make a contribution today at nmpolitics.net/contribute.

NMPolitics.net’s fundraising is currently at $11,382.37. Thus far, 141 people and businesses from across the political spectrum, and from around the state and beyond, have given.

Last week, donors included Rep. Joseph Cervantes’ law firm, Jeret Fleetwood of Santa Fe, Gregory Fouratt of Albuquerque, Mark Westbrock of Las Cruces, William T. Strouse of Albuquerque, Tom Mullins of Farmington, Rep. Mimi Stewart of Albuquerque, John Caldwell of Fairacres, and Michael Smith of Henderson, Nev.

As I told you early in this fundraising drive, if NMPolitics.net reaches its goal, this site will donate $250 apiece to two organizations that share NMPolitics.net’s mission – the N.M. Foundation for Open Government and New Mexico First. One fights for increased transparency in government and the other leads the way in facilitating productive political and policy debate that promotes the common good.

Thanks to those of you who have already made donations to NMPolitics.net! Your support means a lot to me and to my efforts to keep this site going.

But I need a little more help to get over the top. Please, if you haven’t already made a donation, visit nmpolitics.net/contribute today and give what you can. If you have any questions, e-mail me at heath@haussamen.com.
