NMPolitics.net’s fundraising reaches almost $3,900

Heath Haussamen

Last week, while I was working to provide you with comprehensive coverage of the news about Sen. Jeff Bingaman’s retirement and other issues, donations to NMPolitics.net climbed to almost $3,900.

If you appreciate NMPolitics.net’s coverage of major events like Bingaman’s retirement, I’m asking you to make a financial contribution to help keep it going.

You can make a donation by visiting nmpolitics.net/contribute.

In three weeks, 38 donors have given a combined $3,875 to help NMPolitics.net reach 32 percent of its goal of raising $12,000 by April 30. That includes actual, one-time contributions and estimates of donations over the next year from people who have signed up to make monthly contributions.

Those who gave last week included Jessica Murphy of Caballo, Kathi Bearden of Hobbs, former Las Cruces Mayor Bill Mattiace, and Brian Moore, Gov. Susana Martinez’s deputy chief of staff.

Donors to NMPolitics.net come from around the state and beyond and from across the political spectrum. You can view the full list of donors here.

Thanks to those of you who have given. Individual contributions are a key part of NMPolitics.net’s funding. The site doesn’t exist without people like you!

The rest of you can make a one-time contribution in any amount or sign up to make automatic, monthly contributions of $10 or $20. Those who sign up to make monthly contributions or give a one-time contribution of at least $120 will receive a monthly newsletter containing exclusive analysis and interesting tidbits about what’s happening in New Mexico and news about NMPolitics.net.

Please, visit nmpolitics.net/contribute today and make a donation. Any amount helps. Thus far, donations range in size from $10 to $250.
