Board members will discuss qualifications and how to seek applicants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Some board members have talked with educators from around the state and have a list of candidates who might be available on an interim basis. Schwebke told the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lcsun-news.com\/news\/ci_4823056\" target=\"_blank\">Las Cruces Sun-News<\/a> that \u201cthe number is somewhere under 10.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The interim chief won\u2019t likely be selected until January.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The meeting is at 5 p.m. at the district\u2019s administration building, <st1:street st=\"on\"><st1:address st=\"on\">505 South Main Street<\/st1:address><\/st1:street>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the Las Cruces Public Schools Board of Education will discuss the process for selecting an interim superintendent during a work session today.
