Only 11 votes separated the two candidates, raising the question of\u00a0whether Hall\u00a0would seek a recount. Hall and Eakman\u00a0could not immediately be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thank you, everyone,&#8221; Eakman wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LEJE2015\/posts\/1662065017413788\" target=\"_blank\">on Facebook<\/a>. &#8220;Every vote counts, doesn&#8217;t it?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The city has no automatic recount provision, so the cost would be Hall&#8217;s\u00a0if he seeks a recount.<\/p>\n<p>Assuming the results hold, Eakman\u00a0will replace Nathan Small, who chose not to seek re-election this year.<\/p>\n<p>A third candidate, Gilbert Vasquez, won 13 percent, or 183 votes. As NMPolitics.net reported, Vasquez filed paperwork asking Gov.
