Turner also plans stops today in Roswell, Clovis, Farmington, Taos and Albuquerque.<\/p>\n<p>Turner, owner of the public relations firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dwturner.com\/\">DW Turner<\/a>, first confirmed <a href=\"..\/2009\/06\/gops-turner-says-he-brings-new-energy-to-guvs-race\/\">in June<\/a> that he was considering running for governor. He calls himself a moderate Republican, and has a history of political involvement. He was state director for former Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gary_E._Johnson\" target=\"_blank\">Gary Johnson\u2019s<\/a> first campaign in 1994 and manager of his re-election campaign in 1998.
