Here are the results:<\/p>\n<p>In the District 3 race, in which there were 227 votes, challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/olgapedroza.org\/\">Olga Pedroza<\/a> narrowly defeated incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.las-cruces.org\/council\/district3.shtm\">Dolores C. Archuleta<\/a>. Pedroza had 110 votes, or 48 percent, to Archuleta\u2019s 104, or 46 percent. Some 13 voters, or 6 percent, said they don\u2019t know which candidate they support.<\/p>\n<p>In the District 5 race, in which there were 189 votes, challenger Gill M. Sorg had 113 votes, or 60 percent, to incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.giljonesforcouncil.com\/\">Gil Jones\u2019<\/a> 65 votes, or 34 percent. Some 11 voters, or 6 percent, said they don\u2019t know which candidate they support.<\/p>\n<p>In the District 6 race, in which there were 213 votes, incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/councilorsharonthomas.com\/\">Sharon K. Thomas<\/a> had 121 votes, or 57 percent, to challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/citizensforharbison.com\/views.html\">James W. Harbison\u2019s<\/a> 84 votes, or 39 percent.
