She spent $10,607 and ended the period with $130,658 in on-hand cash, according to a news release from her campaign.

“Since July 17th – when I announced my intention to run for governor – I have been deeply moved by the support and excitement my candidacy has generated across New Mexico,” Martinez said in the release. “As more voters learn about my record of taking on corruption and representing conservative values, they are choosing to stand with me and ensuring my campaign has the necessary resources to communicate its message in every corner of our great state.”

Martinez pointed out that she has raised an average of $53,107 per month since entering the race. That’s probably designed to show that, at least in one aspect of campaign funding, she’s keeping pace with opponent Allen Weh. Weh announced earlier today that he raised almost $560,000 in the last reporting period, with almost half of that coming in the form of a personal loan from Weh and his wife to the campaign.

Weh’s fundraising included $244,893.22 in individual contributions. That puts his per-month fundraising from individual donors at about the same rate as Martinez’s because Weh entered the race in May.

It’s worth noting that Weh said earlier today nearly three-fourths of his money was raised since Sept. 8, when he officially entered the race. Martinez raised about two-thirds of her money in the last 30 days.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Turner announced earlier today that he raised just under $342,000 during the last reporting period, with the bulk of it – about $243,500 – coming in the form of loans from Turner to his campaign. Turner also reported a little more than $86,000 in in-kind contributions, so actual cash donations from individuals added up to less than $12,000.

The fourth GOP gubernatorial candidate, Janice Arnold-Jones, has not released fundraising information today.

Update, 3:55 p.m.

Martinez just released her finance report in four parts – individual contributions, in-kind contributions, expenditures, and overall numbers.

UPDATED: Republican gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez reported today that she has raised $141,265 in individual contributions since entering the race on July 17.

[11,1
108,107
post-7777","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news-and-analysis","category-uncategorized","tag-2010-election","tag-roundhouse
["GET
