Steve Pearce, R-N.M., has changed campaign managers again.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">His new manager is Bill Grigaliunas, the 2006 chair of the board of directors for the <st1:street st=\"on\"><st1:address st=\"on\">United   Way<\/st1:address><\/st1:street> of <st1:place st=\"on\">Southwest New Mexico<\/st1:place>. Grigaliunas, a longtime friend of Kissling who is working for free, also served recently as the interim general manager for KRWG-TV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He replaces Loveless Johnson III of <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Santa Fe<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>, who left the campaign in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5892\/2386\/1600\/Pearce%2C%20Steve.15.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5892\/2386\/200\/Pearce%2C%20Steve.15.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>\u201cLoveless didn\u2019t quite, I think, come up to everybody\u2019s expectations and decided to leave,\u201d Grigaliunas said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Johnson lasted only a few weeks. He was hired during the summer to replace then-Manager Roger Flemming when Kissling shook up his staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Johnson, a former director in the Clinton U.S. Department of Energy, was touted by Kissling as someone who \u201chas successfully managed four winning congressional campaigns\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In addition to that bump in the road, Kissling\u2019s campaign reported a deficit earlier this month. Grigaliunas said that\u2019s no longer the case, and the campaign now has about $10,000 to spend on salaries and radio advertisements. Though that\u2019s pennies compared to the money in Pearce\u2019s bank account, it\u2019s better than nothing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The campaign is also running newspaper ads in the Ruidoso area that were donated by individuals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">And a new group has formed to help Kissling. Ron Nesler, a military veteran who has been actively working to defeat Pearce, has started a new group, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmcitizens4change.com\/about.html\" target=\"_blank\">Citizens for Change<\/a>, aimed at accomplishing that goal. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Nesler, who worked for Pearce campaigns twice before switching sides, touts in an e-mail sent to Kissling supporters this weekend that his group will ensure that Pearce gets \u201cpayback for lying to war veterans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cPearce truly represents no one other than big oil, the big drug companies and big foreign corporations,\u201d Nesler states in the e-mail. \u201cI am a lifelong Republican and Al Kissling represents my values much better than Stevan Pearce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The background image on many of the site\u2019s pages shows Pearce standing beside former Rep.
