Bill Richardson and U.S. Rep. Steve Pearce are trying to duck debates, an <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Albuquerque<\/st1:city><\/st1:place> television station is giving their opponents free air time tonight.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Republican gubernatorial candidate John Dendahl and Democratic congressional candidate Al Kissling each have a half hour to share their views on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kobtv.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">KOB-TV<\/a>. The broadcast begins at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5892\/2386\/1600\/Kissling%2C%20Al.15.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/5892\/2386\/200\/Kissling%2C%20Al.14.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The move comes after <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> and Pearce declined invitations from the station to debate. Kudos to the station for standing up to politicos who think they don\u2019t have to debate their opponents. This will give voters throughout the state a chance to see their opponents in action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Richardson and Pearce don\u2019t want their spin challenged. Now their opponents get free time to share their spin, unchallenged.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Unfortunately, people living in <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> don\u2019t have access to KOB-TV. We\u2019re in the <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">El Paso<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> market. Because of that, I\u2019ve requested that the station share video of its forum with me to broadcast on this site. I\u2019ll let you know when I get an answer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">You can, however, e-mail the station with questions for the candidates at <a href=\"mailto:news@kobtv.com?subject=DEBATE_QUESTION\">news@kobtv.com<\/a> with a subject line of DEBATE_QUESTION. You can also check the station\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kobtv.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Web site<\/a> later tonight.
