National Guard troops leave Austin for the U.S.-Mexico border on April 6.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Trump administration is expected to send 800 or more troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to support border enforcement already stationed there at a time the president has called a \u201cnational emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to multiple<\/a> reports, Defense Secretary James Mattis could sign an order to that effect as early as Thursday. The troops \u2014 who are expected to be in place by next week \u2014 would be directed to help border authorities stop a caravan of thousands of Central American migrants who are making their way through Mexico toward the United States, according to CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brandon Judd of the National Border Patrol Council is right when he says on @foxandfriends<\/a> that the Democrat inspired laws make it tough for us to stop people at the Border. MUST BE CHANDED, but I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!<\/p>\n
