Susana Martinez signed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmlegis.gov\/lcs\/legislation.aspx?Chamber=S&amp;LegType=B&amp;LegNo=1&amp;year=15s\" target=\"_blank\">capital outlay bill<\/a> into law on Wednesday, she vetoed $1.1 million in appropriations.<\/p>\n<p>That included funding for 42 projects. Among her vetoes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$10,000 to expand the senior center at Acoma Pueblo.<\/li>\n<li>$10,000 for a surveillance system for the Bernalillo County Metro Court.<\/li>\n<li>$50,000 for equipment for a medical robotics program at an Anthony\u00a0high school.<\/li>\n<li>$40,000 to improve Seventh Street in Clovis.<\/li>\n<li>$18,000 for the Mortgage Finance Authority to offer down-payment assistance to low-income\u00a0people purchasing homes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We asked the Governor&#8217;s Office for the full list of vetoed appropriations and got it.
