Bill Richardson\u2019s re-election campaign has put together a special <a href=\"http:\/\/billrichardson2006.com\/wegothim\/\" target=\"_blank\">Web page<\/a> touting his successful mission to secure the release of American journalist Paul Salopek.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The site uses the phrase \u201cWe got him!\u201d It includes links to select articles about the mission. In addition, it includes a <a href=\"http:\/\/billrichardson2006.com\/r\/688\/339\" target=\"_blank\">Podcast<\/a> in which Salopek and his wife Linda Lynch talk about the experience. Salopek says he and his two companions were excited when they learned <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> would try to intervene on their behalf.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cIt raised our spirits,\u201d Salopek says. \u201c\u2026He had a track record of doing this before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The site also includes <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s first <a href=\"http:\/\/billrichardson2006.com\/r\/687\/339\" target=\"_blank\">video blog entry<\/a>. On the amateur-style recording, the governor discusses the mission and how he secured Salopek\u2019s release.
