State Rep. Joseph Cervantes<\/a>, D-Las Cruces and others will hold a summit next month to educate people about how proposed clean-energy legislation will affect agriculture in New Mexico.<\/p>\n

The summit and workshop, which a news release says is open to \u201cland owners, farmers, policy makers and concerned citizens,\u201d will be held Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road<\/a> in Las Cruces.<\/p>\n

Hosting the summit will be Cervantes, New Mexico State University Animal Range Sciences faculty member Joel Brown and the American Farmland Trust<\/a>, the release states.<\/p>\n
