She was selected for the judgeship several months ago, but had to go through a vetting process before she could be sworn in. That was completed last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">A ceremonial swearing in will be held sometime later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Congratulations, Judge Garza. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The news isn\u2019t all bad for the Garza family.
