Not Ben Ray Lujan Jr.,\u201d the ad states. \u201cLujan was a blackjack dealer in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Vegas<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> before his famous father got him a state job. Now Lujan makes $90,000, but he didn\u2019t show up to 13 of the 14 meetings of the health commission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cLujan Jr. doesn\u2019t even show up,\u201d the ad states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The ad then calls Wiviott \u201cthe better choice\u201d and identifies him as \u201ca successful homebuilder, community leader and former union member.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">Update, 1:25 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In an e-mail to supporters, Luj\u00e1n campaign manager Carlos Trujillo called Wiviott\u2019s ad \u201cfalse and misleading\u201d but didn\u2019t explain why it\u2019s false and misleading. Still, he called the ad a \u201cRepublican Swift Boat-style smear campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWe always knew this was coming. Ben\u2019s the frontrunner with the support of the people,\u201d <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Trujillo<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> said in the e-mail. \u201cOur opponent\u2019s only way to win this campaign is to personally attack Ben through shady mail pieces and misleading television ads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The ad then asks for donations, saying giving money will help people \u201cstand up for Ben Ray Luj\u00e1n against <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Texas<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> multimillionaire developer Don and his deceptive personal attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democratic 3rd Congressional District candidate Don Wiviott went negative over the weekend with a TV ad hitting primary opponent Ben R.
