{"id":4823,"date":"2009-08-18T19:30:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-19T01:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2009\/08\/roberta-vigil-ordered-to-repay-almost-14k\/"},"modified":"2009-08-22T15:07:15","modified_gmt":"2009-08-22T21:07:15","slug":"roberta-vigil-ordered-to-repay-almost-14k","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2009\/08\/roberta-vigil-ordered-to-repay-almost-14k\/","title":{"rendered":"Roberta Vigil ordered to repay almost $14K"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Roberta Vigil was sentenced on Monday to three years on probation and ordered to repay the West Las Vegas Schools $13,856 after being convicted <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2009\/05\/roberta-vigil-convicted-of-fraud.html\">in May<\/a> of fraud, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abqjournal.com\/news\/state\/182335423735newsstate08-18-09.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Albuquerque Journal<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The money is to pay the district back for more than $16,000 in bilingual education funds she used on parties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Vigil was convicted of fraud over $2,500, a third-degree felony, and conspiracy to commit fraud over $2,500, a fourth-degree felony.
