Until today, Richardson and his staffers have refused to answer the question, and his office has cited executive privilege in denying Jennings\u2019 request for documents that would have indicated who Richardson met with in the months prior to the decisions by two state boards to invest with Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Earlier today, the Independent published <a href=\"http:\/\/newmexicoindependent.com\/29216\/richardsons-office-denies-nmi-records-request-citing-executive-privilege\" target=\"_blank\">an article<\/a> authored by Jennings about the untested area of state law the governor\u2019s office is wading into by citing executive privilege in denying Jennings\u2019 records request. The article quotes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmag.gov\/office\/Divisions\/EO\/Default.aspx#Lama\" target=\"_blank\">Al Lama<\/a>, Attorney General <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmag.gov\/office\/Divisions\/EO\/kingbio.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Gary King\u2019s<\/a> chief deputy, as saying, \u201cThe scope of the privilege is undecided.
