Check out these meetings\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/governor.state.nm.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Richardson<\/a> wraps up his town-hall meetings to talk about federal stimulus money on Monday with stops in Carrizozo and Reserve, but even after that there will be two more chances for local-government officials and others to learn more about applying for cash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Meetings will be held Wednesday in Albuquerque and Thursday in Las Cruces to \u201clearn the nuts and bolts of where the money is and how you can apply for it,\u201d according to a letter sent to various groups about the meetings, which are sponsored by Richardson\u2019s grant team, the state\u2019s seven councils of government and other organizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Albuquerque meeting will be held Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Albuquerque Convention Center, <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=401+2nd+St.+NW,+albuquerque&amp;sll=37.0625,-95.677068&amp;sspn=46.27475,59.589844&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;t=h&amp;z=16&amp;iwloc=A\" target=\"_blank\">401 2nd St. NW<\/a>. The Las Cruces meeting will be held Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum, <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=4100+Dripping+Spring+Road,+las+cruces&amp;sll=35.087903,-106.648565&amp;sspn=0.011746,0.014548&amp;g=401+2nd+St.+NW,+albuquerque&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;t=h&amp;z=12\" target=\"_blank\">4100 Dripping Spring Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThe event is FREE &#8212; all you need to do is schedule the time and show up,\u201d the letter states. \u201cWe guarantee it will be worth your while.
