This time it\u2019s Clovis Mayor Gayla Brumfield<\/a>, who, according to the Clovis News Journal<\/a>, asked a secretary to forward an e-mail to city commissioners inviting them to a fundraiser she is hosting on Friday for Lt. Gov. Diane Denish\u2019s<\/a> 2010 gubernatorial campaign.<\/p>\n It\u2019s also not appropriate, by the way, to ask your government employees to do such political work for you.<\/p>\n The mayor was quoted by the newspaper as saying she \u201cdidn\u2019t know\u201d she couldn\u2019t use government e-mail for campaign purposes.<\/p>\n \u201cI sent it out,\u201d she said of the e-mail. \u201cIt\u2019s my fault, I\u2019m learning.
