Bill Richardson may be headed back to <st1:country-region st=\"on\">North  Korea<\/st1:country-region>, but <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city><\/st1:place>\u2019s spokesman says there\u2019s no current plan to do that.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> went to the rogue state last October, taking with him New Mexico State University President Michael Martin. The South Korean report said <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s new trip would be as an information conduit for the Bush administration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">But <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> spokesman Gilbert Gallegos told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abqjournal.com\/abqnews\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;task=view&amp;id=1291&amp;Itemid=2\" target=\"_blank\">ABQjournal.com<\/a> that \u201cthe governor has no plans to go to <st1:country-region st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">North Korea<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Of course, that could always change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> also met with North Korean officials in 2003 in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Santa   Fe<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">As reported on this blog and rehashed today on ABQjournal.com, <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s recent relationship with the White House has been rocky. It started when White House Press Secretary Tony Snow said Richardson unsuccessfully wooed the North Korean leader \u201cwith flowers and chocolates\u201d as a Clinton-administration envoy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> fired back in an article in the Albuquerque Journal by accusing Snow of being \u201cungrateful\u201d for his efforts. He also slammed the Bush administration for its handling of <st1:country-region st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">North Korea<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I have a feeling this isn\u2019t over. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The South Korean news agency Yonhap is reporting that New Mexico Gov.
