That was the extent of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Kilmer, who owns a ranch outside Pecos, has been openly considering running for governor in 2010, which would pit him against Lt. Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ltgovernor.state.nm.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Diane Denish<\/a> in the Democratic primary. He was recently quoted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/kilmer-sounds-confident-about-2010.html\">Boston Globe<\/a> as saying that there are a lot of actors who become politicians, \u201cand they always win, so I guess we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Kilmer made another stop while at the Roundhouse today, according to The Santa Fe New Mexican\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/roundhouseroundup.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/val-visits-house.html\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Terrell<\/a>. The actor appeared on the floor of the House this afternoon, and was introduced by Speaker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmlegis.gov\/lcs\/legdetails.aspx?SPONCODE=HLUJA\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Lujan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Terrell also ran into Kilmer on the first floor of the Roundhouse. In a brief interview, the actor wouldn\u2019t confirm or deny that he\u2019s running for governor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cI don\u2019t have anything planned,\u201d Terrell quoted Kilmer as saying. \u201cI\u2019m just looking to be more active.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Though Kilmer has lived in New Mexico for years, he never voted here until 2008. Asked about that, Kilmer was quoted by Terrell as saying, \u201cIt\u2019s true.
