In June, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maxineforsenate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Maxine Velasquez<\/a>\u00a0finished Election Day with a lead of three votes over\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/clemente.sanchez.509\" target=\"_blank\">Clemente Sanchez<\/a>\u00a0in the state Senate District 30 Democratic primary race, 1,221 to 1,218, but a recount is still underway.
