And he\u2019s not trailing Tinsley by a huge margin in Tinsley\u2019s home county &#8212; Lincoln &#8212; where Tinsley leads 55 percent to 45 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Teague has a 2-point lead in conservative <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Lea<\/st1:placename> <st1:placetype st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place>, where he\u2019s from.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">It\u2019s way too early to call this race, but keep in mind that <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> should be a big win for Teague, and it\u2019s the most populous county in the district. None of the votes from that county have been counted. Tinsley needs to win by a larger margin in some of these other counties than the leads he currently has.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The overall tally in the 2nd District race is 51 percent for Tinsley to 49 percent for Teague with about 10 percent of the votes counted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things are looking very good for Democratic 2nd Congressional District candidate Harry Teague, but it\u2019s still early.
