The short answer is this: Don\u2019t expect to know a lot any time soon.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Early voting results were still being processed this afternoon. It\u2019s not clear how soon we\u2019ll have those numbers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Voting from polling sites will roll in throughout the night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">As for the absentee ballots, 3,844 who had requested them hadn\u2019t voted as of this morning. County spokesman Jess Williams said another 596 absentee ballots were hand-delivered to the clerk\u2019s office today. He also said nearly every precinct reported today that people who requested but hadn\u2019t received absentee ballots were showing up to vote in person. Absentee ballots could also be delivered to voters\u2019 polling places.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThose numbers are going to go down,\u201d Williams said of the 3,844 who hadn\u2019t yet voted. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ll be pushing for good information on how many people who requested absentee ballots end up not voting today, but I don\u2019t expect a final number for quite awhile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The polls are now closed.
