\"\"<\/a>Gov. Bill Richardson<\/a> helped unveil today what Barack Obama\u2019s<\/a> campaign is calling an \u201cunprecedented\u201d effort in the final days of the election to reach Hispanics that includes a TV ad in which Obama speaks entirely in Spanish. <\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

In the new ad, titled \u201cSue\u00f1o Americano,\u201d or \u201cAmerican Dream,\u201d Obama speaks entirely in Spanish about \u201chow to get our country on track,\u201d Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> said today on a conference call with reporters. The ad isn\u2019t yet available on Obama\u2019s Web site<\/a> or YouTube page<\/a>, but Richardson<\/st1:city> said it\u2019s airing beginning today in New Mexico<\/st1:state>, Colorado<\/st1:state>, Nevada<\/st1:state>, Florida<\/st1:state> and Virginia<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of three new Spanish-language ads Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> said the Obama campaign is airing today. In addition, Miami Mayor Manny D\u00edaz<\/a> announced on the call that the Obama campaign plans to run a 30-minute commercial in prime time on Univision<\/a> later this week. It will air Thursday at 7 p.m. mountain standard time.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

D\u00edaz called the push by Obama as the race heads into its final week an \u201cunprecedented\u2026 outreach to the Hispanic community through the Hispanic media.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

\u201cIn my 30-plus years in political campaigns and political involvement, I have never seen anything like this before,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> said the push is coming from a campaign that has made \u201cthe most aggressive Spanish-language media efforts in the history of presidential politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

In addition to not releasing video, the campaign has not released transcripts of the new ads.<\/p>\n
