Robles to the <a href=\"http:\/\/coa.nmcourts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Mexico Court of Appeals<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Robles will be leaving behind a job as chief judge of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thirddistrictcourt.com\/geninfo.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Third Judicial District Court<\/a> in <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> to replace Ira Robinson on the state\u2019s second-highest court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThis position comes with an awesome responsibility &#8212; one which I do not take lightly,\u201d <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> said Friday at a ceremony in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>. \u201cAn appellate judge should be principled and fair. Judge Robles is that and so much more. He is an experienced trial judge, he is intelligent and professional, he\u2019s a legal scholar, he\u2019s a seasoned manager who understands <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>\u2019s judiciary, and he commands respect. You know where you stand with Judge Robles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Robles has more than 32 years of legal experience, including 17 as a judge in the Third Judicial District, where he has served as chief judge for nine years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Robles will have to run for the appellate court seat in 2010.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As expected, Gov.
