House District 16 race.<\/p>\n<p>Lu\u00e9vano made the announcement earlier today. In a news release, he said, \u201cpeople shouldn\u2019t be punished for serving their country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As NMPolitics.net\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2012\/03\/residency-controversy-dogs-house-candidate\/\" target=\"_blank\">reported previously<\/a>, while Lu\u00e9vano\u2019s retirement home was being built, he used the address to register to vote and vote. He says that was his best option for retaining residency while an active-duty Marine.
