Robles, chief judge of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thirddistrictcourt.com\/geninfo.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Third Judicial District Court<\/a> in Do\u00f1a Ana County, is set to become a member of the state <a href=\"http:\/\/coa.nmcourts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Court of Appeals<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/governor.state.nm.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Richardson<\/a> is scheduled to announce the appointment of a new judge to the appellate court on Friday in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>. He\u2019ll do so at 4:15 p.m. in Courtroom 1 at the Third Judicial District Court, <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=201+West+picacho+ave.,+las+cruces&amp;sll=37.0625,-95.677068&amp;sspn=47.167389,61.171875&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;t=h&amp;z=16&amp;g=201+West+picacho+ave.,+las+cruces&amp;iwloc=addr\" target=\"_blank\">201 West Picacho Ave.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Last week, a judicial nominating commission sent <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> the names of 10 applicants to fill the three vacancies on the court. Robles is the only candidate from <st1:city st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:city> on the list sent to the governor, so you can do the math about Friday\u2019s announcement in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ve already shared my high opinion of the job Robles has done as a district court judge.
