Democratic 1st District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinheinrich.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Heinrich<\/a> came in second with 87 votes, or 20 percent. He was followed by Republican 2nd District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edtinsleyforcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ed Tinsley<\/a>, who had 71 votes, or 16 percent; Democratic 3rd District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.benrlujan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Ray Luj\u00e1n<\/a>, who had 67 votes, or 15 percent; Republican 1st District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darrenwhiteforcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Darren White<\/a>, who had 48 votes, or 11 percent; Republican 3rd District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daneast4congress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dan East<\/a>, who had 21 votes, or 5 percent; and independent 3rd District candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/carolmillercongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carol Miller<\/a>, who had seven votes, or 2 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Don\u2019t forget to vote in this week\u2019s poll, located at the top of the right column on this page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harry Teague won last week\u2019s non-scientific poll on this site asking which candidate would make the best new member of the U.S. House.
