I can\u2019t imagine there are many people who read this site who aren\u2019t already registered to vote, but I felt that I would be remiss to let pass the deadline to register without mentioning it.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

So: Today is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 4 general election. If you haven\u2019t already registered, please do so today.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Registration applications must be submitted in person before the Do\u00f1a Ana County Clerk\u2019s Office closes today at 5 p.m. or postmarked by today and received in the office by Friday.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

As of Friday, there were almost 105,000 registered voters in the county.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Also, early voting begins today at the Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename> Ana<\/st1:placename> County<\/st1:placename> Government<\/st1:placename> Center<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place>, 845 N. Motel Blvd.<\/a>, and today is the first day that those who have requested absentee ballots can begin submitting them.<\/p>\n

Early voting runs weekdays through Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Also, starting Oct. 18, early voting will begin at several other locations around the county.<\/p>\n
