Your voice was heard!\u201d Miller wrote to her supporters. \u201cI will be participating in the Sunday, October 19th debate to be broadcast on KOAT-TV. \u2026 Because you stood up for democracy an independent voice will be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In justifying the original decision to only include Luj\u00e1n and East in the debate, KOAT New Director Sue Stephens told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafenewmexican.com\/Local%20News\/Oct--19-debate--could-air-without-Miller\" target=\"_blank\">The Santa Fe New Mexican<\/a> that she invited the two candidates \u201cin the public\u2019s eye,\u201d saying Luj\u00e1n and East \u201clived through the primary. They have had exposure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was among those who <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2008\/09\/note-to-koat-and-abqjournal-let-miller.html\">criticized the decision to exclude Miller<\/a>.
