Earlier this month, Judicial Standards Commission Director Jim Noel <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2008\/09\/noel-withdraws-acceptance-of-elections.html\">declined the job<\/a> after criticism mounted because he is the son-in-law of Democratic U.S. Senate candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomudall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Udall<\/a> and his wife, in addition to being Udall\u2019s daughter, is Udall\u2019s campaign manager.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Gonzalez has worked as an attorney for local governments in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Santa Fe<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>. In recent months, he has been the media representative for Democrats in the New Mexico Legislature.
