Jason Harper introduced his much-anticipated legislation to reform the state&#8217;s gross receipts tax on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230; two years of work! 430 pages! let&#8217;s hope it goes somewhere today,&#8221; Harper, R-Rio Rancho, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JasonHarperNM\/status\/867518634523975680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0after the bill was introduced.<\/p>\n<p>The massive\u00a0bill, which the public\u00a0hadn&#8217;t seen before, is online. You can <a href=\"http:\/\/nmhousegop.com\/rep-harpers-tax-reform-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">read it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As NMPolitics.net reported <a href=\"http:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2017\/05\/public-hasnt-yet-seen-massive-tax-reform-bill-governor-wants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">earlier Wednesday<\/a>, Gov. Susana Martinez wants the bill passed as part of any deal to resolve the state&#8217;s budget standoff.
