Both events are invitation-only. <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Clinton<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s debt was $25.2 million at the end of June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Many <st1:city st=\"on\">Clinton<\/st1:city> supporters were furious that Richardson, a former cabinet secretary and U.N. ambassador in the administration of <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Clinton<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s husband, endorsed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barackobama.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Barack Obama<\/a> in the primary. <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city>\u2019s endorsement had been heavily sought by both candidates, and <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Clinton<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> supporter <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_Carville\" target=\"_blank\">James Carville<\/a> compared him to Judas after he sided with Obama.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/SJDMVAySv3I\/AAAAAAAAGUs\/ScKHxJXipMY\/s1600-h\/Clinton,+Hillary.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/SJDMVAySv3I\/AAAAAAAAGUs\/ScKHxJXipMY\/s200\/Clinton,+Hillary.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5228903828737408882\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Richardson and Clinton have apparently put that behind them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cGovernor Richardson\u2019s efforts reinforce Senator Obama\u2019s commitment to unifying the Democratic Party and assisting Senator Clinton\u2019s effort to retire her campaign debt,\u201d Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in the release from Richardson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cSenator Clinton is grateful for Governor Richardson\u2019s and Senator Obama\u2019s efforts to assist with retiring her campaign debt, and she is looking forward to continuing to campaign for Senator Obama and help ensure victory for Democrats throughout the country this fall,\u201d Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand said in the release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The <st1:city st=\"on\">Santa Fe<\/st1:city> fundraiser will be held at the office of Dave Contarino, who managed <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s unsuccessful run for president and is a former chief of staff in his office. The <st1:city st=\"on\">Albuquerque<\/st1:city> fundraiser will be held at the home of <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New   Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> racetrack owner Paul Blanchard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Richardson and Lt. Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ltgovernor.state.nm.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Diane Denish<\/a> will serve as hosts for the day, according to the news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">A prior version of this posting incorrectly stated that the Santa Fe fundraiser was to be held at Contarino&#8217;s home.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
