Other cities around the state holding elections include Santa Fe and Clovis.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Las Cruces Sun-News <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lcsun-news.com\/las_cruces-news\/ci_19717240\" target=\"_blank\">has the goods<\/a> on who\u2019s running in the Do\u00f1a Ana County races. The most high-profile include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The race for mayor of Sunland Park. The city will have a new leader, as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2011\/10\/sunland-park-mayor-still-doesn%e2%80%99t-get-it\/\" target=\"_blank\">the embattled Martin Resendiz<\/a> isn\u2019t running again.<\/li>\n<li>The second mayoral contest in Anthony\u2019s history.<\/li>\n<li>The open race for two seats on the Mesilla Board of Trustees, which features two familiar faces \u2013 former Mesilla Mayor Michael Cadena, who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2007\/11\/mesilla-mayor-wont-be-charged-in-casino-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\">faced scandal<\/a> during his tenure, and former Do\u00f1a Ana County Clerk Ruben Ceballos, who in 2003 was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2006\/06\/former-clerk%E2%80%99s-wife-blames-politics-says-elections-problems-no-worse-here-than-in-other-counties\/\" target=\"_blank\">convicted of felony violations<\/a> of the state\u2019s elections code and left office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can get the goods on the election contest in Santa Fe by clicking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafenewmexican.com\/Local%20News\/Municipal-election-11-hopefuls-earn-spots-on-ballot\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and on the contest in Clovis <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnjonline.com\/news\/mayor-46331-clovis-election.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.
