Gov. Gary Johnson<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Former N.M. Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.garyjohnson2012.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gary Johnson<\/a> is considering running for president as a libertarian and conceding that he won\u2019t become the GOP nominee.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitolreportnewmexico.com\/?p=7031\" target=\"_blank\">Capitol Report New Mexico<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cGary Johnson\u00a0says he\u2019s not sure when he\u2019ll make up his mind on\u00a0pursuing a third-party candidacy for President but he definitely says his chances of turning in a respectable showing in\u00a0New Hampshire are practically non-existent \u2014 and that\u2019s because, he says, he\u2019s been unfairly excluded from nearly all of the Republican presidential debates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018There\u2019s no expectation, none whatsoever\u2019 of a strong finish in the New Hampshire primary, which will be held in little more than six weeks (Jan. 10) Johnson said in an interview in Santa Fe Monday afternoon (Nov. 28).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBack in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitolreportnewmexico.com\/?p=5691\" target=\"_blank\">August, Johnson announced he was concentrating his campaign\u2019s attention \u2014 and money \u2014 in New Hampshire<\/a>, doubling his staff in the Granite State and \u2018making a strategic decision to spend our resources and time doing retail politics in New Hampshire.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut Johnson has been excluded from 14 of the 16 Republican TV debates thus far.\u00a0\u2018We were hosting town halls every night (in New Hampshire) and basically nobody was showing up,\u2019 Johnson said.
