Gutierrez had 4,476 votes, or 50.5 percent, to Johnson\u2019s 4,389 votes, or 49.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In the county clerk Democratic primary, Elections Supervisor Lynn Ellins defeated his closest challenger in a four-way race, incumbent Rita Torres, by 186 votes. Ellins had 3,140 votes, or 34 percent, to Torres\u2019 2,954 votes, or 32 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In the county commission District 4 Republican primary, Doyle Pruitt defeated Anna Mae Evans by 71 votes. Pruitt had 1,012 votes, or 51.8 percent, to Evans\u2019 941 votes, or 48.2 percent. In the county commission District 2 Democratic primary, incumbent Dolores Salda\u00f1a-Caviness defeated her closest challenger in a three-way race by 35 votes.
