I wouldn\u2019t even require any salt and pepper.\u201d<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\">Even in <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Chaves<\/st1:PlaceName> <st1:placetype st=\"on\">County<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> &#8212; where Republicans get to vote in hotly contested primaries in the U.S. Senate and 2nd Congressional District races and two state legislative primaries &#8212; there were no morning lines at polling sites.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\">\u201cIt\u2019s kind of like throwing a party and no one shows up,\u201d Chaves County Clerk Rhoda Coakley told the news service. \u201cWe\u2019ll be doing good if we get 25 percent.\u201d<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\">And the <a href=\"http:\/\/newmexicoindependent.com\/view\/just-in-turnout\" target=\"_blank\">New Mexico Independent<\/a> is reporting that turnout is light in Rio Rancho.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\">Multiple sources tell me voter turnout is very low for Democrats and Republicans across the 2nd Congressional District. You might think that\u2019s bad for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peopleforpearce.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Pearce<\/a> in the GOP U.S. Senate primary, but it\u2019s only bad for him if turnout is better than that in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heatherforsenate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Heather Wilson\u2019s<\/a> <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Bernalillo<\/st1:PlaceName>  <st1:placetype st=\"on\">County<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place>.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"popup\">I\u2019ve been unable to reach anyone with the Bernalillo County Clerk\u2019s Office for comment.
