As a <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> commissioner, he established the county\u2019s first paid firefighting staff. He is aware of the population growth of southern <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New   Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> and how it impacts essential emergency services and its citizens. Bill considers firefighters\u2019 opinions important when discussing matters of homeland security. Bill brings the hope of our future with his youth and ambition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cBill McCamley is a stand-up commissioner who has always been there when we\u2019ve needed him,\u201d said Louie Burke, a spokesman for the <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> firefighters union. \u201cThe bottom line is that Bill has supported <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> firefighters and we support him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">McCamley said firefighters \u201care public servants in the truest sense of the term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir service to the public includes not only their time and their hard work, but their willingness to sacrifice their own lives for our public safety,\u201d he said. \u201cThat is the highest form of public service there is, and I am extremely honored to receive their support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-style: italic;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">As I\u2019ve disclosed in the past, I\u2019m friends with McCamley.
