He said he would cut Social Security benefits for widows and orphans, according to the ad. The ad also criticizes Pearce for a recent vote to cut $169 million from <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New   Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:State>\u2019s share of hospital funding. In the same bill, Pearce voted against cracking down on health-care fraud and abuse, according to a news release from the <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Wilson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWith that record, he can\u2019t win in November,\u201d the ad concludes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWith the recent loss of three safe Republican U.S. House seats and a heated presidential campaign, primary voters are tuned in to the high political stakes this year,\u201d Chris Collins, <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Wilson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s campaign manager, said in the release. \u201cMr. Pearce has a long history of misstatements and missteps that will come back to haunt him come November. Supporting cutting Social Security benefits for widows and orphans is just one of them.
