Don Kidd has endorsed Tinsley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In a letter to Teague, the union cited his understanding and experience fighting on behalf of hard-working <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> families, according to a news release from the Teague campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cYour dedication and understanding of the issues that affect our members and their families has earned the respect and support of all our members,\u201d the letter stated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Teague said he is \u201chonored\u201d to have the support of the union, which represents about 125,000 active and retired transit workers in the <st1:country-region st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">United States<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cLike them, I know what it means to work hard and play by the rules,\u201d Teague said. \u201cI am committed to working for <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>\u2019s families by fighting for affordable health care, better schools and high-paying jobs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/SDMS0oyZu5I\/AAAAAAAAFyc\/TyYAoOkNXnA\/s1600-h\/Tinsley,+Ed.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/SDMS0oyZu5I\/AAAAAAAAFyc\/TyYAoOkNXnA\/s200\/Tinsley,+Ed.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5202522690054372242\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>In endorsing Tinsley, Kidd said in a release from the Tinsley campaign that the GOP primary has become \u201cvery spirited and competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cI\u2019m here today to endorse Ed because he is the one candidate in this primary who boasts the experience and work ethic to most effectively represent southern <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New   Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>,\u201d Kidd said in the release. \u201c\u2026 Ed will undoubtedly lead with conservative conviction in <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Washington<\/st1:city>, <st1:state st=\"on\">D.C.<\/st1:state><\/st1:place> when he\u2019s elected to Congress in November by fighting for the resources our region and state deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Kidd is currently a bank executive.
