This ad says she missed votes \u201cjust to film negative campaign ads.\u201d In the background of the ad is someone calling out \u201cHeather Wilson\u201d and someone else responding with \u201cabsent\u201d several times to emphasize the point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The last five seconds sort of randomly insert the line, \u201cHeather Wilson. Liberal values, liberal votes.\u201d Then the ad ends with another exchange of \u201cHeather Wilson,\u201d \u201cAbsent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">There\u2019s nothing in the ad to back up the claim that <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Wilson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> is a liberal, unless Pearce is claiming that missing votes is a liberal value.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">Update, May 1, 8:55 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Wilson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> spokeswoman Whitney Cheshire described Pearce\u2019s new ad as \u201cfalse.\u201d Specifically, she said Pearce knows that <st1:city st=\"on\">Wilson<\/st1:city> was not filming a campaign ad while she was in <st1:state st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:state> because he asked her about it at last week\u2019s debate in <st1:place st=\"on\">Los  Alamos<\/st1:place>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cShe told him she did not film commercials and that she had been in Los Alamos,\u201d <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Cheshire<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> said. \u201cThe footage in our campaign ad that he is referencing is from 2006. The key statement in Pearce\u2019s ad is false.
