In endorsing McCamley, the union cited his \u201cgreat relationship with labor over the years,\u201d according to a news release from the McCamley campaign. McCamley has worked with the union in his role as a <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> commissioner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cBill is going to do great things for <st1:place st=\"on\">Southern  New Mexico<\/st1:place>,\u201d AFSCME committee member Fred Marquez said in the release. \u201cWe are going to work hard to make sure he is our next representative in <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Washington<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">McCamley said he is \u201cthrilled\u201d to receive the support of AFSCME.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cI am committed to changing <st1:state st=\"on\">Washington<\/st1:state> to get results for the people of <st1:place st=\"on\">Southern New Mexico<\/st1:place>, including the hard-working public servants that AFSCME represents,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">McCamley was previously endorsed by the <st1:placename st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:placename> <st1:placetype st=\"on\">Building<\/st1:placetype> and Construction Trades Council, which represents more than 7,000 <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> workers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-style: italic;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">As I\u2019ve disclosed in the past, I\u2019m friends with McCamley.
