Ryan Suggs confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn both searches, officers were looking for \u2018electronic communications\u2019 and records, Suggs said Friday.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Murphy is facing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2011\/05\/murphy-charged-with-bribery-other-felonies\/\" target=\"_blank\">felony bribery charges<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2011\/06\/murphy-faces-additional-misdemeanor-charge\/\" target=\"_blank\">a misdemeanor charge<\/a> of violating the state\u2019s Governmental Conduct Act.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors\u00a0allege that Murphy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2011\/05\/report-details-allegations-against-murphy\/\" target=\"_blank\">solicited a bribe<\/a> from potential judicial applicant Beverly Singleman, told District Judge Lisa Schultz to tell Singleman she needed to pay the bribe, and threatened to destroy Singleman\u2019s reputation for telling others that he solicited a bribe from her.<\/p>\n<p>No one besides Murphy has been charged or received notice that they may be indicted, but the investigation is ongoing.
