Interestingly, he left intact funding for trash-can sanitizing in some communities \u2013 like Albuquerque and Portales \u2013 while killing the funding for other communities including Questa and Belen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s action on the bills avoids a legal showdown with Senate leaders. He complied with the 6 p.m. deadline they believed applied to the bills. But the other capital-outlay bill, <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.state.nm.us\/lcs\/_session.asp?chamber=S&amp;type=++&amp;number=471&amp;Submit=Search&amp;year=08\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Bill 471<\/a>, looms large. It\u2019s become the talk of the Roundhouse as people speculate about whether the governor and House Democrats made a deal to get it approved in the next 17 hours or so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
