On Feb. 1, I asked readers of NMPolitics.net to help me raise $12,000 to keep the site going. I\u2019m pleased to announce today that NMPolitics.net has surpassed that goal!<\/p>\n

In nine weeks, NMPolitics.net has raised $12,011.37 from 142 donors. That includes people from around the state and nation and from across the political spectrum. Some are well-known politicians. Others are citizens who read this site to stay informed about what\u2019s going on with their government.<\/p>\n

The average donation size during this year\u2019s fundraising drive was $84.59.<\/p>\n

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your support for NMPolitics.net is amazing. I believe firmly in the site\u2019s mission of holding government and political leaders accountable through hard-hitting but fair reporting while also encouraging policy and political debate that promotes the common good. It\u2019s inspiring to know that so many of you do as well.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been meaning to donate but haven\u2019t yet had a chance, NMPolitics.net will continue to accept contributions. You can give at nmpolitics.net\/contribute<\/a>.<\/p>\n
