Campaign volunteer Ken Camp told me earlier today he was staying on, flying to <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Nevada<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> this weekend at his own expense to campaign for the governor, but that others \u201chave jumped ship in the past 12-14 hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">Update, 5:55 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Richardson Deputy Campaign Manager Amanda Cooper told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafenewmexican.com\/National%20News\/AP__Richardson_quits_race__campaign_says__No_he_hasn_t_\" target=\"_blank\">The Santa Fe New Mexican<\/a> that the governor hasn\u2019t dropped out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cNo he hasn\u2019t,\u201d she said and, when asked whether he planned to drop out, she said, \u201cI haven\u2019t had a discussion about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ve been unable to reach Cooper and other <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> campaign officials for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">Update, 6:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">A source identified as \u201ca Democratic strategist close to <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s campaign\u201d told <a href=\"http:\/\/politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com\/2008\/01\/09\/ap-source-richardson-ending-presidential-bid\/\" target=\"_blank\">CNN<\/a> that the governor has decided to drop out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThe numbers are the reason \u2013 not enough votes and not enough money,\u201d a Democratic strategist close to <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s campaign told CNN.
