Nate Gentry, R-Albuquerque<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A bill that would increase jail time for and strip pensions from those convicted of public corruption crimes unanimously passed the House today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmlegis.gov\/lcs\/_session.aspx?chamber=H&amp;legtype=B&amp;legno=%20378&amp;year=11\" target=\"_blank\">House Bill 378<\/a>, sponsored by Rep. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmlegis.gov\/lcs\/legdetails.aspx?SPONCODE=HGENN\" target=\"_blank\">Nate Gentry<\/a>, R-Albuquerque, now heads to the Senate for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s vote in favor of the bill was 68-0.
