Washington Elementary School in District 1 \u2013 have incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/mattiace-wants-to-finish-major.html\">Bill Mattiace<\/a> beating challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/miyagishima-wants-slower-growth-better.html\">Ken Miyagishima<\/a> by 20 votes, 255 to 235.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In the municipal judge race, incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/miller-byrnes-is-apparently-seeking-re.html\">Melissa Miller-Byrnes<\/a> is beating challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/former-cop-magistrate-to-run-for.html\">Conrad F. Perea<\/a> by one vote, 244 to 243.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In the council District 2 race, incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/connor-announces-re-election-bid.html\">Dolores Connor<\/a> is losing to challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/former-school-board-member-to-challenge.html\">Vince Boudreau<\/a> by 11 votes, 137 to 126. And in the District 1 race, incumbent <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/frietze-to-seek-fourth-term-on-city.html\">Jos\u00e9 Frietze<\/a> has 94 votes, while challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/former-county-commissioner-to-challenge.html\">Miguel Silva<\/a> has 72, challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/guerra-announces-city-council-run.html\">Conrado Guerra<\/a> has 45 and challenger <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/local-activist-to-challenge-frietze-in.html\">Ron Gurley<\/a> has 17.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">These numbers are according to my count, not the official city count.
