I will take an appropriate amount of time to assess the alternatives, weigh the merits of what I can accomplish in the state as a legislator against what I believe I can accomplish and the positive contributions I can make for the nation and the state as a member of Congress,\u201d she said. \u201cNothing is off the table.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Arnold-Jones would have to face Bernalillo County Sheriff <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bernco.gov\/live\/departments.asp?dept=2318\" target=\"_blank\">Darren White<\/a>, who entered the congressional race last week, in a GOP primary. On the Democratic side, Albuquerque City Councilor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinheinrich.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Heinrich<\/a>, attorney <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jonadamsforcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jon Adams<\/a> and former state Health Secretary <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/health-secretary-quitting-to-run-for.html\">Michelle Lujan Grisham<\/a> are running. Other Democrats and Republicans are also considering entering the race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Arnold-Jones\u2019 newest statement follows days of phone conversations with potential backers as she attempted to determine how much support she can put together, so the talks must have been encouraging.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Rep.
